Dan Burgess - Senior Vice President & Director of Public Relations

He's been an acclaimed television reporter. A spokesperson for the city of Louisville. He's created a campaign for the Louisville Slugger Museum that was awarded the top national honor in the public relations industry - the Silver Anvil award. And he's been inducted into the Public Relations Society of America Hall of Fame by the Bluegrass Chapter. While Dan may claim that his success hasn't come easy, it certainly has come often.

Trained as a television reporter, Dan started in radio news. Over a 12-year span in Louisville, he was half of a successful morning personality team and wrote and anchored highly rated afternoon and evening news programs. He also won numerous journalism awards and eventually won broadcast journalism's highest honor - the Peabody Award.

Dan has served as Doe-Anderson's Director of Public Relations for over a decade. Under his guidance, both the agency and its reputation for highly effective public relations initiatives have prospered.

For the record, Dan also has a lovely singing voice - as anyone on our sixth floor can attest.
