Brand Enthusion™ at Work: Louisville Slugger
Louisville Slugger is no mere brand icon, but rather part of the game itself. To its loyalists, it's also a rich part of life as it has been center stage for baseball's greatest moments. Typically males, in their early 30's, these loyalists are old enough to have formed a deeper appreciation of baseball and its traditions.
By concentrating publicity efforts for the new Louisville Slugger Museum in markets with Major League teams, Doe-Anderson tapped into a greater concentration of Louisville Slugger fans. With an invitation-only forum featuring a number of all-time baseball greats, we created a larger-than-life experience at the Grand Opening. In its first year, the museum had over 220,000 visitors, and attendance has remained consistent even with practically no advertising support.
