Doe-Anderson is seeking a Senior Full-stack Developer responsible for developing aesthetically pleasing digital experiences with equally beautiful code.
Summary
A senior full-stack developer at Doe-Anderson is responsible for developing aesthetically pleasing digital experiences with equally beautiful code. You will be an experienced voice within a larger team on large-scale projects from discovery to deployment in an agile structure. You will also be tasked to help lead maintenance and improvements on existing digital properties that may include but not be limited to websites, web apps and email.
In addition to daily tasks, you will be afforded dedicated time for professional development to keep pace with the ever-changing digital landscape. You will work with the Director of Software Development to create a career plan that will challenge you to grow into a senior full-stack developer and beyond, depending upon your career goals.
Qualifications
Years of experience are not as important as demonstrable experience across a variety of project types (portfolio of previous work a prerequisite)
Experience in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to quickly toggle between assignments
Articulate and confident demonstrating your ideas in internal and/or client presentations
Team player comfortable working on an integrated team with diverse perspectives
Willingness to have your code reviewed and to review the code of teammates
Documentation lover
Ability to share ownership of ideas
Position based in Louisville, Ky. Remote arrangements optional/negotiable.
Required Technical Skills
Strong backend language knowledge, preference for PHP
Strong JavaScript knowledge
JavaScript framework experience (Vue.js, React, Angular, Ember, etc.)
Experience leveraging API-provided data
Database management, preference for MySQL
Advanced CSS knowledge/experience (flexbox, grid, preprocessors or utility frameworks)
Webpack or other build tools
Preferred Technical Skills
Laravel
Progressive Web Apps and its components
Statamic
Nuxt.js
Comfortable in Figma
