Doe-Anderson Honored in International, Local Advertising Competitions
February 2, 2015
Every once in a while, we like to use this space for shameless self-promotion. This is one such occasion.
Doe-Anderson has been named the seventh-most-successful ad agency in the 2015 Graphis Advertising Annual competition, a show that highlights the best work from thousands of international advertising entries.
And so we’re clear, that’s seventh out of 109 ad agencies — from around the world.
The pieces that have been selected include work for Maker’s Mark, Bluegrass Cellular, Arai Helmet, the Kentucky Office of Highway Safety and kynect (click here to view the work).
Here’s what David Vawter, our Chief Creative Officer, has to say about it:
“The Graphis show is entered by the biggest and best agencies from around the world. To have eight pieces from five different clients chosen for inclusion in the show, and for five pieces to win Gold or Silver medals, speaks to the high level of work that is being created for a broad range of our clients. Also, even more satisfying is the fact that (unlike in a lot of awards shows these days) the work was created for actual clients, who actually paid us to actually run it.”
And while we’re on the subject of horn-tooting, here’s one more: our rebranding campaign for Actors Theatre won one of three Judges Choice Awards in the recent AIGA Louisville show.
