The Challenge

Carriage House Printery, a custom fabric printery in Ohio, needed a newly designed ecommerce website that matched the quality of its products and services. Its previous site lacked an intuitive interface, mobile responsiveness and reliable search functionality, often leading consumers to rely on email or Facebook to place manual orders with the owners.

The Solution

We wove together a fast and nimble site that was optimized for users based on their devices and browsers. So consumers would not need to dig through countless pages, we built a guided shopping experience with featured collections, visual fabric examples and a streamlined checkout flow. The platform design exceeded all of Carriage House Printery’s current needs and was modular enough to handle all its future initiatives.

One of the things that sets Carriage House Printery apart from other fabric stores and vendors is its ability to print anything on almost anything – and we helped them make it easy and accurate.

Customers simply upload their own designs. Then in real-time – and unlike other fabric printeries – customers can see how their designs will print on the exact fabric they selected.

Our primary target audience? Highly busy moms with side hustles. Phones are central elements of their lives. This site had to fit their lifestyles. What we created was a site that enhanced their shopping experiences with easy-to-use, one-of-a-kind tools.

The final step of the process for customers is as important as the first. We designed a bespoke checkout experience that worked seamlessly with Carriage House Printery’s custom printing system and allowed them to keep turnaround times between a week and 10 days.
