Central Bank Brand Campaign

When banking is more approachable

The background

Surrounded, outmanned and outgunned by some of the biggest brands in the financial services category, Central Bank needed a memorable idea that would resonate with its regional audience. They also needed a seamless experience for consumers to gather more information and confidently switch banks.

Connecting on every level

We crafted an integrated campaign that expanded awareness of Central’s full range of products and services, served up in simple, memorable bites by an appealing, approachable spokesperson.

Across media platforms, overarching brand themes were supplemented by targeted messaging that appealed to our audience’s passionate support of University of Kentucky athletics.

Optimizing the full user experience

As our fine-tuned media strategy drove higher traffic, we then needed to leverage our web design and SEO services to create synergy between our new brand campaign and an increasingly visible online presence.

We developed and executed an all-new Central Bank website to accomplish this goal and offer a flatter, easier-to-navigate website that was also ADA compliant.

The results

Things that warm the heart – as well as the balance sheet: increased market share in Central’s two largest markets and record earnings.

Plus, thanks to our new site design, Central is consistently climbing the Google search rankings, and our click-thru rate has improved by an average of over 30% since launch. Best of all, we did it without giving away a single toaster.
